@ 1454 The elders of the Koraysh tribe enviously resent that Prophet Muhammad, an orphan, was blessed to be chosen as the Messenger of Allah 43:31-32
43:31 They also said, 'Why was this Koran not sent down to a great man from the two Villages?'
# وَقَالُوا لَوْلا نُزِّلَ هَذَا القُرْآنُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنَ القَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ 31
43:32 What, is it they who divide the Mercy of your Lord! (It is) We who divided between them their livelihoods in this life, raising some in rank above others, so that some may take the other into his service. Your Lord's Mercy is better than all they gather.
# أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمةَ رَبِّكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضاً سُخْرِياً وَرَحْمَةُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ 32
43:33 If it were not that mankind would be one nation We would have made for whosoever disbelieves in the Merciful silver roofs upon their houses, and stairs to climb,
# وَلَوْلا أَن يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفاً مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ 33
43:34 with doors to their houses and couches on which to recline;
# وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَاباً وَسُرُراً عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ 34
43:35 and gold, surely, all this is but the enjoyment of this present life. The Everlasting Life with your Lord is for those who fear (Him).
# وَزُخْرُفاً وَإِن كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 35
